We're moving! The three of us are taking the plunge to move across the country to Seattle from North Carolina, a move that is important for our quality of life and opportunities moving forward. I'll be close to my girlfriend, and we'll be somewhere that has real community and support for us as a house of three trans women. It's an important step towards getting gender affirming care and truly starting to enjoy life. Since I lost my job and had to lean on credit more than I wanted to, it's a bit more of a financial risk than we intended. We can definitely get there, but it will be cutting it close and leave essentially no room for error during the beginning while I find a new gig. Anything at all would be a big help, even if its just easing the burden of getting dinner for a day, or a tank of gas on our 3000+ mile drive.
